Description

Shows Dennis Potvin shooting several woodchucks on a farm field planted in soybeans.  Five of the six woodchucks are shot as they emerge, one by one, from the same underground den.  In this video, Potvin uses his Remington 700 varmint rifle in caliber 22-250, his own reloaded ammo, and his homemade rifle rest, which he calls "the DPGunrest".  He only hunts this particular field every three years, whenever it is planted in soybeans.  He leaves it alone when it is planted in corn or wheat.  This gives the prolific woodchucks plenty of time to recover and rebuild their numbers in the area.  At the end of the video, you will also see how Potvin sometimes checks his rifle for accuracy at the end of a day's hunt.  Action takes place on June 30th and July 1st, 2010, in the state of Michigan.
